Which is Better?
Which is better:
Getting the big expensive gift you wanted for Christmas, plus accessories and a few other things, but you were right there in the stores picking them out so there’s no surprise; or
Waiting until Christmas, having dropped a few hints he may or my not have picked up on, and being totally surprised by a bunch of gifts on Christmas Day, most of which you only vaguely wanted, or didn’t want at all?
Which is better: exactly what you want, with no romance or surprises, or a random collection of mostly lame gifts that your loved one put a lot of time, thought and effort into getting for you?
